ATTENTION ATHLETES!

Don’t ever consume a “supplement” or pill given to you by your coach/trainer unless you know the contents of what you put into your body.  The athlete is ultimately responsible for their choices!

Drug Testing has been a top priority with the INBF/WNBF for 34 Years!

The backbone of our reputation is the strict adherence to stringent drug testing.  We place the highest importance on ensuring that athletes are drug-free, so as to ensure fair competition at each and every event Worldwide.  We are proud to announce that we have nearly 14,000 urine test results on file since 1989!

The use of drugs is strictly prohibited.

All INBF/WNBF athletes must be 10 years drug free of prescription/pharmaceutical hormones on the banned substance list and two years free of over-the-counter hormones, pro-hormones or banned substances listed or their chemical counterparts, unless otherwise noted, prior to their first INBF or WNBF competition.

NOTICE:  As of January, 2022 urine or polygraph drug test failures for anabolic-androgenic steroids, growth hormones and use of other oral or injectable performance enhancing substances may incur a lifetime ban from INBF/WNBF membership privileges.

INBF/WNBF and World Affiliate Banned Substance List

INBF and WNBF steroid and diuretic testing policies and procedures are compliant with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Prohibited List.

**The following list of substances and related compounds are banned by the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation.  Their use constitutes grounds for dismissal from WNBF competitions and suspension from membership privileges in the organization for a period of ten (10) years from the failure date**

Please read all supplement ingredients carefully; athletes are responsible for being vigilant regarding their supplement usage.

NEW AMATEUR COMPETITORS ONLY must have not used any pro-hormones for at least two (2) years before joining the INBF/WNBF for the first time.

CONSENT TO DRUG TESTING – When an athlete purchases an INBF or WNBF membership you are providing consent to the INBF/WNBF to urine drug test you at events and/or randomly in and out of season.  Athletes not abiding by this policy will be suspended indefinitely.

*PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION NOTICE

At no point may any athlete use a prescription more frequently or at higher doses than it was prescribed by their physician.  Medications may never be used for bodybuilding or weight loss purposes nor may you use a prescription not prescribed to you.  All prescriptions have to be up to date and a copy must be presented to the promoters of all INBF/WNBF sanctioned events in order for the WNBF to issue a therapeutic use exemption (TUE).

The following banned substance list is effective as of  September 2, 2009

BETA BLOCKERS including beta-antagonists, beta-adrenergic blocking agents, and beta-adrenergic antagonists are banned for use prior to any INBF WNBF polygraph examination conducted by licensed professionals either in or out of season.  Any medication/substance producing the same physiological effect as beta blockers, even if they are not listed below are considered banned.  Athletes who show deception or fail a polygraph test for beta blockers will be suspended from INBF and WNBF membership privileges worldwide for a minimum of 10 years to life.

*Athletes who have heart issues or other medical conditions wherein beta blockers are used for quality of life purposes must notify WNBF officials prior to applying for any WNBF affiliated event worldwide.  All athletes will be required to meet WNBF & WADA criteria to be granted a TUE.
