We are excited to welcome WNBF Costa Rica President Diego Sanchez, Vice President Andrey Barquero, and Quality Control Representative Marco Torrentes to the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation. WNBF Costa Rica was founded on April 2, 2023 in San Jose.
A message from the President;
We are very honored to have been considered as an extension and leadership of the WNBF in Costa Rica, and we are excited to offer this drug free competitive platform for all natural athletes from around the world. We greatly look forward to meeting many of the talented natural athletes from Costa Rica that we can help develop at home. I work for a dental company by day but my true passion is natural fitness and bodybuilding and I look forward to continuing my competitive endeavors with the WNBF.
Andrey is also a men’s physique competitor as well and he is also a leading coach/trainer in Costa Rica.
WNBF Costa Rica will focus on promoting events under the WNBF banner and to uphold the stringent drug testing the organization has held at it’s core since 1989. The professionalism and the scope of the WNBF reach worldwide made this organization the natural choice to bring to our country for years to come. As with all WNBF world affiliates, it is our goal to promote a healthier, fair, and competitive NATURAL federation so that athletes can follow the path to their dreams of competing on a level playing field. This is only possible and trusted through the WNBF.
I would like to thank my team who has helped me make it possible to bring the WNBF to my great country. 2024 will start with our awesome opportunity to host Costa Rica’s first ever drug tested event.
